Commercial property in St. John's

St. John's is the business centre of Newfoundland and Labrador, and most of the province's office, retail and industrial listings are in the metro area. The listings above are every commercial property on the MLS® System, for sale and for lease, across St. John's and the rest of the province, updated several times a day.

For sale or for lease?

Both are listed here. Use the filters to separate them, or look at the lease section for space you can rent rather than buy.

Is HST charged?

Unlike most resale homes, commercial property sales are usually subject to HST, which is 15% in Newfoundland and Labrador. Confirm how it applies to your purchase with your lawyer or accountant before you make an offer.

Will the zoning allow your use?

Check the property's zoning with the City of St. John's, or the town it's in, before you commit, especially if you plan a different use from the current one.

What does due diligence include?

Usually a building inspection, a review of any existing leases and tenants for an investment property, and for industrial sites, an environmental site assessment.
